Bienvenue à Balthazar

We're right in the heart of Borås, beside the gently flowing waters of the Viskan, with a restaurant, café, sourdough bakery and boule bar all under one roof. Here, we really want to dare to think differently and be innovative with our menu, while staying true to the classics we know you love. The classics are still here, sitting alongside curious new combinations and a wine list with real substance. In the bakery, we make everything from scratch — our bread is sourdough — and we cook with the best of the season and local produce.

You're welcome to join us for a relaxed lunch, a romantic dinner or a bigger celebration. We're happy to tailor the evening to your party, whether it's a birthday or a company event, and we're glad to host large groups too. If you'd like to celebrate somewhere a little more private, we also have a separate room available. And of course, we offer both vegetarian and vegan options.
